Braveheart Meig was a reporter who saw almost no excitement at all in the world. He was originally an actor and movie director who had a great career for a while, but later his career went downhill because he couldn't get the inspiration he wanted. He hoped by becoming a high ranking news reporter he could get the excitement he needed, especially in Area 11. He was wrong and he hated his new job and all the nobles at area 11. He was assigned by Margrave O'Malley to be in charge of the live broadcast of Jake's trial. He made sure all the people that lined the road to the courthouse were all the most patriotic and loyal Britannians to make the broadcast even better. Then he saw the masked man on what appeared to be Prince Coden's crowd car.

Somehow the appearance of the man sparked something inside him; the energy he used to have in his early career was back. In a surge of ecstacy he grabbed a spare news camera and pushed his way to the front of the crowd to get a close up view of this man named "Zero." As he saw the masked man and broadcasted his image all over the Britannian Empire, his face lit up with sheer joy. "Yes, now THIS is history in the making!"

Juno looked behind her at Zero. To her the way the man standing on the cheaply made car she was driving reminded her of another man who did this same routine against the Britannian army 4 years ago to rescue another innocent man. Zero standing there in his black metal made mask with the high collared cape wrapped around his body made him almost look like Black Knight, the man who did almost the same exact thing Zero was doing right now. It was like Zero's rescue plan was a reinactment of his.

Jack stood still as he examined his surroundings on the highway. He then eyed an excited news camera man who, in Jack's opinion, looked rather odd. He had long wavy light brown hair, he wore a black or navy jacket with matching pants, leather shoes, a red turtle neck, and had half his face painted blue.

(Obviously someone is a big Mel Gibson fan) Jack thought. Finally he redirected his attention towards the soldiers and knightmares in front of him that had surrounded his friend. "I am here to rescue private Jake Hancock. You will kindly surrender him to me."

"What? Are you insane?! This man is responsible for the death of Prince Coden! Do you really think I'd willingly-" Jo started shouting in protest.

"He is not Coden's murderer," Jack interrupted.

"What?" Jo asked confused. "What makes you think that..."

"Silence!" Jack interrupted him again. "To all of Britannia I have something to say!"

The crowd was startled. Murmurs started to circulate about them.

"Jake Hancock is not the murderer," Jack began. "The true killer of Prince Coden..."

Jack looked towards the odd news cameraman he spotted before. He looked directly into the camera as if he was looking at everyone watching the life broadcast. "Is me!"

The crowd reeled back in surprise.

"You're responsible for his majesty's death?!" Jo bellowed. He raised his gun into the sky and fired. Several more knightmare frames fell and surrounded the white car Jack was standing on.

Jack didn't flinch at all. Instead he snapped his fingers up in the air. The back of the car fell off and revealed a gas container of somekind.

"Is that?!" Jo stammered. "Is that the poisonous gas?!"

"I'll make you a trade," Jack began. "Jake for the device you were looking for the other day."

"I'll never give into a terrorist's demands!" Jo yelled.

(Dammit he's taken the whole crowd hostage) Jake thought. He tried to yell for everyone to run, but the moment he uttered a few syllables the shock collar on his neck kept him silent.

Jo raised his gun at Jack. "I'll shoot you if you try anything funny Zero!"

"Are you sure you can shoot me, Lord Jo?" Jack cautioned him. "If you shoot me, I'll leak Sunkist."

The crowd got confused, as did the military forces.

Jo was just as confused, but he was thinking of something else than everyone else. (What? Is his body's bloodstream filled with delicious Sunkist?! I must have it-NO! If I attack him now and try to drink the sunkist out of his body, people will think I'm crazy! What can I do?! I WANT THAT SUNKIST SOOO BADLY!)

Jack grinned under his mask and tapped his heel twice on the car, signalling Juno to move forward. Juno drove the car slowly and closer towards Jo O'Mally's knightmare frame. "If I get shot, then Sunkist goes public. I know for sure you wouldn't want that to happen."

"So if you don't want that to happen," a small section of the mask opened up, revealing Jack's left eye. It was glowing red with an even brighter red bird-like symbol in the middle of it. Jack looked directly into Jo's eyes. He then casted his Geass with his next sentence,"Then you will do everything in you power to let us escape!"

Jo took the full blunt of the Geass. "Fine then, release the prisoner."

The guards looked at each other confused.

"You heard me! Release the prisoner!" Jo bellowed.

Jack and Juno exited the car and walked forward. Jake at the same time approached them. Jake stopped in front of Zero.

"Thanks but who are-" the collar shocked him again.

"I see...they didn't let you speak for yourself," Jack observed.

"Zero, it's time for us to go," Juno told him.

"As I thought...Farewell," Jack said to everyone before pulling out a small device. It was shaped almost like the king piece in chess, except it had a golded head, blue body, and a red button on top of the head.

Jack pressed the button and the odd machine on the car began to spew gas. The crowd ran away in panic. Jack grabbed Jake and jumped backwards off the side of the bridge with Juno behind him. They landed several feet below in a tarp and slided down to the trailer of a truck and began to drive off. One of the soldiers began to fire on them.

"Crap this isn't good," Ken muttered in the cab.

"Don't worry, just drive," Zero ordered.

In the next instant, Jo's slash harkens nocked the gun out of the knightmare frame's hands. "Lord Velveeta! I ordered you to let them escape!"

"But Lord Jo," Velveeta began to protest.

"No buts about it! Obey my orders! Let them escape!" Jo bellowed, still under the influence of Jack's Geass. "Do not persue them!"

Meanwhile outside Ashford Academy...

Dianna had already finished cleaning Jack's home for the day and began taking a walk. Although she was the daughter-in-law of the principal and Jack's cousin-in-law, she still decided to take the job of a maid for the clubhouse. Dianna had a rather odd appearance for someone at 21. She was about 4 to 5 feet high, looked as young as 14, had giant animal ears that resemebeled an odd cross of both a cat and a dog, and a tail as well. The fur on her ears and tail, as well as her short trimmed hair was black. She had yellow colored eyes. The reason she was acting as a maid was...rather odd. Dianna is a huge fan of Japanese culture, especially manga, anime, and video games. (Oddly enough even though Britannia had conquered Japan, they still let them make comics, cartoons, and games.) So because of her fascination with it, she also developed a love for cosplayiing. In her mind, the best way to become a really good cosplayer was to have also experienced the job or character cosplayed to some extent.

She walked around the high brick walls that surrounded the campus thinking about what to do next when something caught her eye. In front of her was an exhausted girl about 17 in a white outfit and long green hair panting and using the wall to support herself. Dianna quickly ran to her. "HEY are you okay? Do you need help?"

"Pl-please..." begged the girl. "There are...bad people...after me..."

"Don't worry, you can come with me! I'll keep you safe," Dianna said, wrapping the girl's arm around her neck to help her walk. "Come on, I'll sneek you in the back of this place."

"Thank you..." the girl said.

"So what's your name?" Dianna asked

"My...name?" the girl asked. "It's..."

An hour later Ken and his small band of rebels were all resting in an abandoned theater. Juno sat next to him. "I can't believe this..."

"I know, he managed to save this guy just like Black Knight saved you a few years ago," Juno commented. "What do you think he's talking to him about right now?"

"He's probably asking him the same thing Black Knight asked me back then," Ken answered.

"So what do you think? Should we give him a chance?" Juno asked.

"If he is the same man HE told us to wait for, then yes I think we should," Ken commented.

Deeper inside the theater Jake stood there facing the man who saved his life, Zero.

"Now you see the true heart of Britannia," Jack told him. "You were treated terribly and wrongfully because of their corrupt nature."

"But what about the poisonous gas?" Jake objected.

"That was a ruse," Jack responded."I wasn't going to kill anyone trying to save you."

"End result was what mattered huh?" Jake commented.

"Join me Jake. Together we will defeat Britannia and make the world a better place," offered Jack while holding out his hand in front of him.

"Thank you for rescuing me, but I must decline," Jake responded. "If a result you achieve is done by wrong methods, then it's not a worthwhile result at all."

"What?" Jack asked surprised.

"I believe I can change this world from the inside itself. That's why I joined the military in the first place," Jake responded.

Jack stood there frozen looking at his friend, but then another set of images flashed through his mind. It was the Black Knight and Ken again, this time in the same abandoned theater they were in now. Their conversation had been almost the same as Jack's and Jake's was.

"I will change the world from within," Ken's voice echoed. Ken then turned and walked off.

The Black Knight's fists tightened. He yelled, "YOU NAIVE FOOL!"

Jack's thoughts returned to the present again. He looked back at Jake.

Jack grinned under his mask and gave a small laughed. "Alright, I understand Jake. I'll admit that rescue was a little bit too extreme. Go back and face your trial then. However, should you finally accept Britannia's corruption, my offer for you to join still stands."

"Thank you for understanding Zero," Jake replied. "I promise that if I have to face you on the battlefield I'll grant you mercy and take you in alive."

Jake turned and walked out of a giant whole in the theater's walls. Ken walked up behind Jack and spoke to him. "Are you sure it was a good idea to let him go like that, Zero?"

"What would be the point of forcing him to join us?" Jack asked. "If a soldier doesn't believe in the reasons he fights for, then that makes him a murderer right? Besides you left the army and fought against Britannia as well in the end."

"Yeah but..." began Ken. "That was different. I promised a friend I'd watch over the remaining Justice Knights."

Jack turned to him. "So you really are the last of the Justice Knights?"

"No," Ken explained. "After the last major battle between us and Britannia, we scattered. Without the Black Knight himself we thought we couldn't win, so we split up into different fractions. This group here is left over from the best men and women under the direct command of Black Knight himself."

"I see," Jack commented. "I must leave now, Ken. I hope to work with you in the future."

"I'm looking forward to it," replied Ken. "Last time I was here I refused the offer to join and fight against Britannia. This time however, I won't make the same mistake."

Ken shook Zero's hand, not knowing that the man behind the mask was his younger cousin, and Zero left. Ken walked back to the room where the others were. "Get ready. We're gonna fight Britannia once again."

The room was filled with the cheers of the veteran fighters. "Long Live Japan!"

Jack ran through the abandoned streets until he came accross another building and ran inside. He pulled out the duffle bag he kept hidden on his back and changed out of his outfit. After stuffing everything inside, he carried it by the shoulderstrap and walked out towards the train. It took him almost an hour before he got off at his stop, and then another 30 minutes to get back to the academy. When he climbed up to the third floor of the clubhouse, he was already tired but didn't feel like sleeping just yet. He unlocked his brother's room and threw the duffle in there before locking the door back.

"I'm hungry," Jack realized.

He walked down the hallway before stopping at the dining room door. He opened the door hoping Dianna wasn't around. He didn't feel like dealing with her hyperness at the moment.

"Welcome home...Jack..."

Jack stopped and stared at the girl sitting at the table. She was close to Jack's height, had a lighter skin tone than his, and wore a white straight jacket suit. She had long green hair that ran down her back, but her bangs were cut to her jawline and seperated into three strands, two of which each ran down the sides of her face, and the middle one ran mostly between her eyes but curved off to the left side of her nose tip and mouth. Her red eyes looked dully towards Jack.

Jack's face went into a shocked expression. "Z-ZE-ZENA?!"
Jack Code Geass Chapter 5. SUNKIST!!! XD

I got that idea a few months ago when I was talking with a friend of mine who's also a Code Geass fan, and I basically came up with an idea or joke thing that was like Code Geass with Soda instead. Like I replaced Geass with Coke, Geass Canceller with Pepsi, Sakuradite with Cherry Dr. Pepper, and my favorite-SUNKIST in place of orange. Basically it was more than just simply replacing words though, and Jo's thoughts about it was a roughly downsized version of the Jeremiah Sunkist idea LOL.

So now we have Jake saved, but why is a "dead" girl in Jack's home? Or better yet why is she still alive? What connection did Ken have with the military before and when did he decide to join the Justice Knights? What happened to Black Knight? More importantly, what about Randall?

Ch 6 coming soon...
